Are you an ambitious Candidate Quantity Surveyor looking to develop your career within a leading professional quantity surveying and construction consultancy?
Our client is a respected global property and construction consultancy, providing specialist cost management and quantity surveying services across a diverse range of projects. They are looking for a driven and motivated Candidate Quantity Surveyor to join their Cape Town team and contribute to the successful delivery of exciting building and property development projects.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years' relevant Quantity Surveying experience
- Education: BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying
- Experience within a professional quantity surveying consultancy environment
- Exposure to commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, mixed-use or office development projects
- Experience with building construction projects, including new developments and refurbishments
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of cost estimates, budgets and cost plans
- Undertake measurements and prepare bills of quantities
- Assist with tender documentation, procurement and tender evaluations
- Monitor project costs and assist with cost reporting
- Assist with valuations, payment certificates and final accounts
