Turner & Townsend is seeking a technically strong Project Manager to join our team in Sydney. This role is ideal for someone early to mid-career (3-10 years’ experience) who has delivered complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects within Real Estate sector. We are looking for someone who is ready to take the next step-joining a global, tier-one project management consultancy.
Responsibilities:
- Support and lead the delivery of technical building services projects, with a strong emphasis on electrical and controls systems.
- Manage the design and delivery of MEP projects in live, operational environments.
- Develop and grow Turner & Townsend’s technical services offering across client portfolios and internal teams.
- Plan and oversee works with a focus on safety, quality, and performance outcomes.
- Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications including the production of formal project progress and other reports.
- Establish and manage project governance, reporting, and change control processes.
- Interface with clients, consultants, and contractors across all project stages.
- Support procurement activities and tender evaluations.
- Contribute to internal processes, financial management, and quality assurance.
Requirement:
- 3 -10 years of experience in building/technical services ( from PM to SPM)
- Background in design consultancy or MEP services delivery contracting.
- Strong technical capability and deep understanding of building systems.
- Proven experience managing projects in live, operational environments.
- Demonstrated experience in risk identification and management / mitigate for construction programs and mission critical systems.
- Tertiary qualification in engineering (electrical/mechanical) is ideal or substantial, demonstrable industry experience in a relevant technical field.
- Experience in a client facing is ideal
