Full Stack Engineer

What we’re looking for

• Around3 yearsormoreof professional fullstackdevelopmentexperience.
• Hands-on productionexperiencewithReact, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS. This isthe coreof the role.
• Backend experiencein Python, orthe clearabilityto pick it upquickly.
• Respectfor UI and UX (userinterface and userexperience) work. Youdo not needto bea designer, but youtakedesign feedbackseriouslyand yougivethe detailsthe time theyneed.
• The abilityto own a feature end to end: the datamodel, the API, the interface, and the tests.
• Comfort withLinux, Git, and a CI pipeline.
• Strong writtenand spoken English. German isa plus.

The day-to-day

• Buildand maintainourgroundcontrolstation: the operatorview, the map, the live video, the controllerintegration, and the messagesthattellan operatorwhatthe aircraftisdoing.
• Buildinternal toolsfor the engineeringteams, fromdataviewsto small applicationsthatremove manualwork.
• Work acrossthe wholestack: a Python web backend, a typedAPI, and a modern web frontend, withmostof yourtime on the frontend.
• Turn design directionintopolishedinterfaces, and bring yourown ideason whatgoeson the screen, whatdoesnot, and whathasto bevisible at a glance.
• Work withthe autonomy, perception, platform, and testingteams, who supplythe datayourinterfacesshow.
• Take feedbackfrompilotsand testengineers, and turn it intochangestheynotice.
• Contributeto the customer-facingweb applicationsas thosebegin.

You should apply if you

• Have experience withVite and withtypedAPI clientsgenerated fromOpenAPI.
• Have experience withFastAPI, Pydantic, orSQLAlchemy.
• Bring experience withmap-basedorreal-time interfaces: live telemetry, videostreams, oranythingwherethe screen mustkeepupwitha movingsystem.
• Can navigate building interfacesfor operators, pilots, orcontrolrooms, wherea wrongclickhasa cost.

Nice to haves

• Experience withinterfacesthatmustworkoutdoors, offline, oron an unreliablenetwork.
• Experience withmorethanonelanguagein a productinterface.
