This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the mechanical and electrical systems in our production and warehousing facilities, as well as supporting and implementing continuous improvement projects.
You will underpin manufacturing operations at the Andover site by conducting plant maintenance activities to achieve targeted levels of productivity, whilst championing safety and quality behaviours. Full job specification available upon request during the process.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance activities, recording and reporting all relevant data and information.
- Overhauling and refurbishing of parts and equipment.
- Work cross functionally with teams in the organization to identify and systematically solve problems.
- Identify and implement machine modifications and upgrades.
- Develop documented training material and support in upskilling the operations team.
- Support in refining the equipment maintenance strategies through quality problem solving and implementation of best practice maintenance techniques.
- Deliver performance and improvement initiatives against agreed maintenance and operations KPI’s.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Apprentice trained electrical/mechanical engineer.
- C&G/NVQ3 in electrical/mechanical engineering.
- At least 5 years' experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing engineering equipment - warehousing / distribution / logistics / process / production lines.
- Ability to work in a 3 shift weekly rotation pattern 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am.
- Computer literate in MS office package, ability to use a CMMS system
