CNC Press Brake Operator
Responsibilities
- Independently set up and operate CNC press brake machines (AMADA, Trumpf, LVD, etc.).
- Read engineering drawings and set bending parameters, tooling, pressure, and backgauge positions.
- Select, install, and adjust appropriate punches and dies.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, angle gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Adjust machine parameters to maintain required dimensions, angles, and tolerances.
- Identify and troubleshoot bending defects such as springback, indentation, and interference.
- Work with QA to resolve quality issues and non-conforming products.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and follow 6S and safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of CNC press brake experience.
- Able to independently set up and operate press brake machines.
- Experience with AMADA, Trumpf, LVD, or similar machines preferred.
- Able to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances.
- Knowledge of press brake tooling, sheet metal bending, and measuring instruments.
- Good troubleshooting, quality, and safety awareness.
