We are looking for a Process Engineer to support manufacturing process development, new product introduction (NPI), and continuous improvement initiatives for EV components in Malaysia.
What we're looking for:
3+ years of Process Engineering experience in the Automotive or Manufacturing industry
Experience with EV components such as Battery Packs, Motor Housing, High-Voltage Connectors, Structural Parts, Stamping, Welding, Plastic Injection Moulding, Machining, or Assembly
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or UG/NX
Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP, Process Flow Diagram (PFD)
Experience with DOE, SPC, MSA, Cpk/Ppk, and statistical process improvement tools
Familiarity with IATF 16949 Quality Management System
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering (IE), PDCA, 8D, 5W1H, CAPA, and SMED
Experience in process validation, new equipment commissioning, Run@Rate, and production support
Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new products
Prepare PFDs, PFMEA, Control Plans, and SOPs
Lead process validation, DOE activities, and capability improvement
Support new equipment installation and production ramp-up
Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement
Investigate process and quality issues using RCA, 8D, and CAPA methodologies
Train production teams and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and R&D teams
