Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR)

About the role
We're opening a second business alongside our consumer product: the same platform, sold to businesses instead of individuals. We're targeting 60 enterprise deals by year end, and you'll be the first person on the ground turning outbound interest into real pipeline.
This is a builder's seat, not a script-reading seat. You'll run outbound to three kinds of buyers: independent experts scaling their own brand through the platform, licensed professionals (tax, wealth management, immigration, estate planning) whose judgment is their product, and companies that need to capture what their best people know before it walks out the door. Alongside outbound, you'll handle first-touch support for smaller accounts post-close, standing in for a dedicated customer success function that doesn't exist yet.
What you'll do
- Run outbound sequences (email, LinkedIn, phone) against defined ICP lists, using tools like Clay and Artisan rather than a generic playbook
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads against criteria you help define as signal comes in
- Own first-line hand-holding for smaller accounts post-close, including a paid onboarding motion
- Log everything, keep the pipeline honest, hand off qualified opportunities cleanly
- Bring creative prospecting ideas. The best SDRs here find angles a playbook wouldn't
What we're looking for
- 1 to 2 years of B2B SaaS sales experience (SDR, BDR, or equivalent outbound role)
- A self-starter comfortable being the first person to build a process, not just follow one
- Sharp written communication. Cold outbound lives or dies on the first line
- Comfortable with ambiguity. This function is being built in real time
Compensation
$80K+ base plus commission (OTE). Exact structure discussed in the interview process.
Location: in-person, Los Altos, CA.
