This position is located in Calgary at UFA's Westmount Campus and offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted talent advisor by providing market intelligence, talent insights, and recruitment recommendations that support informed hiring decisions.
  • Consult with leaders on sourcing strategies, talent availability, candidate assessment, and market trends to improve hiring outcomes and recruitment effectiveness.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for a diverse portfolio of corporate, operational, skilled trades, retail, and leadership positions across the organization.
  • Source, engage, and attract top talent through multiple channels.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience from first conversation to offer.
  • Support inclusive hiring practices that promote equitable candidate experiences and hiring outcomes.
  • Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives.
  • Leverage recruiting technologies, sourcing tools, and data-driven insights to enhance hiring outcomes and candidate experiences.
  • Track recruiting metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay curious about market trends and bring fresh ideas to the team.

Qualifications:

  • A degree, diploma, or certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with experience in corporate recruitment considered a strong asset.
  • Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple business areas and position types.
  • Experience sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruitment platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility and influence hiring decisions through strong consultation and relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices, labor market trends, and talent attraction strategies.
  • Understanding of employment legislation and equitable hiring practices.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking and recruitment technologies, with a preference for experience using SuccessFactors.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • A knack for spotting talent and matching people to opportunities.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
