Data Compliance Legal Counsel / 数据合规法务

Job Responsibilities

- Responsible for the company's legal matters relating to data compliance, privacy protection, and cybersecurity. Provide legal support and compliance advice to product, R&D, operations, and business development teams.

- Participate in domestic and international data compliance projects, including but not limited to personal information protection, data classification and grading, data lifecycle management, and cross-border data transfer. Drive the implementation of data compliance requirements across the business.

- Draft, review, and revise data compliance-related legal documents, including but not limited to Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), privacy policies, user agreements, data authorization agreements, and customer/supplier data clauses.

- Track domestic and international data protection laws, regulations, and regulatory developments (such as the Personal Information Protection Law, Data Security Law, Cybersecurity Law, GDPR, PDPA, etc.). Produce legal analyses, risk assessments, and compliance recommendations to support the business.

- Participate in data compliance reviews for new products, new business lines, and overseas projects. Identify legal risks and propose actionable legal solutions to support business innovation and global expansion.

- Assist in establishing and improving the company's data compliance management systems, processes, and standards. Participate in internal compliance training, policy communication, and routine risk screening to drive continuous improvement of the company's data compliance framework.

- Support the handling of data security incidents, regulatory inquiries, customer data compliance consultations, and other legal matters related to data compliance.

Requirements

- Full-time bachelor's degree or above in Law, having passed the National Unified Legal Professional Qualification Examination.

- 3+ years of experience in corporate legal affairs, data compliance, privacy protection, or at a law firm. Experience in internet, SaaS, fintech, or AI industries is preferred.

- Solid skills in legal analysis, contract review, and legal drafting, with the ability to independently draft, review, and assess risk for legal documents such as DPAs, privacy policies, and data authorization agreements.

- Strong risk identification, communication, coordination, and cross-departmental collaboration skills, with the ability to provide professional, practical, and actionable legal solutions tailored to business scenarios.

- Strong learning agility and business acumen, able to quickly track domestic and international data compliance regulatory developments and drive the implementation of compliance requirements within the business.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience providing legal support to multinational companies or overseas business operations.

- Strong English proficiency (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), able to use English as a working language, and independently handle English-language contract review, legal drafting, and cross-border business communication.
