Forward Deployed Engineer | Voice AI & LLM Agents

They're developing AI-powered agents and conversational systems that help large healthcare organisations streamline complex workflows, improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.

Their technology is already being used by major healthcare organisations across the US, and with demand growing rapidly, they're expanding their engineering team.

About the Role

We're looking for a FDE to design, build and deploy intelligent conversational AI agents for enterprise customers.

You'll work with LLMs, Voice AI, prompt engineering and agentic workflows, developing systems capable of handling complex conversations, making decisions and completing structured tasks.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you'll work closely with clients to understand their requirements, build tailored AI solutions and continuously improve performance using real-world data.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy LLM-powered conversational and Voice AI agents.
• Build agentic workflows, including prompts, conversation flows and state management.
• Develop AI evaluation and testing frameworks to improve accuracy, consistency and reliability.
• Work directly with enterprise customers to translate requirements into working AI solutions.
• Optimise agent performance through testing, monitoring and production feedback.
• Develop structured scoring systems, guardrails and conversation logic.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve AI capabilities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with a full-stack background.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience building LLM applications, NLP systems or AI agents in production.
• Experience developing AI agent workflows, including prompt engineering and structured conversation flows.
• Understanding of LLM evaluation, agent orchestration and conversational AI.
• Experience with AI testing, evaluation or QA frameworks.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and translating requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
