Your Key Accountabilities
- Delivers expert work in General R, D & I with high quality and timeliness, applying best practices and standards.
- Executes research projects within program, applying knowledge and expertise.- Builds knowledge and expertise within core competence subdomains.
- Owns complex tasks in project management and chemical or process engineering, producing accurate outputs and identifying risks or anomalies proactively.
- Analyzes problems, recommends options, and implements improvements in methods, tools, or data flows.
- Collaborates with adjacent teams and stakeholders, communicating insights and recommendations clearly.
- Collaborates cross-functionally to deliver high-quality outcomes and knowledge sharing.
- Contributes to continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
Who we are looking for
Education & Experience
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing industrial, agentic systems.
- Demonstrated experience delivering at least one custom Generative AI application that goes significantly beyond basic document processing or retrieval
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and domain experts
- Industrial or academic background in chemistry, materials science, process technology or automotive applications is considered a strong asset
Technical Competencies
- Strong practical expertise in Generative AI and Large Language Model technologies.
- An industrial or educational background in material sciences, research or chemical industry is a big plus.
Experience designing AI agents, multi-agent architectures and tool-enabled AI systems Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), knowledge grounding and trustworthy AI design principles
- Experience integrating multiple information and data sources into a unified AI solution Strong software engineering and Python programming skills
- Ability to evaluate emerging AI technologies and translate them into practical business value
- Familiarity with cloud-based AI platforms and enterprise deployment environments is a plus
