Network Engineer Internship - JEA

Are you a fresh graduate with a passion for Networking and Telecommunications?

Do you have a CCNA certification or completed CCNA training and want to turn your technical knowledge into real-world experience?

We’re looking for motivated graduates to join our Network team, where you’ll gain hands-on exposure to network operations, troubleshooting, monitoring, and customer-impacting services.

• Troubleshoot network connectivity and service issues, identify root causes, and support resolution.
• Monitor network performance and identify potential issues before they impact services.
• Work with routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment.
• Apply your knowledge of routing, switching, and MPLS in real operational scenarios.
• Gain exposure to Microwave (MW) and Fiber transmission technologies.
• Handle network monitoring systems and technical tickets.
• Support network installations, configurations, upgrades, and migrations.
• Work closely with Network team members and third parties to investigate and resolve issues.
• Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records.
• Apply basic network security concepts in day-to-day activities.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders when required.

• CCNA (Routing & Switching) certification or completed CCNA training.
• Basic understanding of networking and network troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of MPLS and its troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of MW and Fiber technologies.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Good command of English.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
• A genuine interest in building a career in Networking & Telecommunications.
