Join us as Corporate Tax Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE

This role exists to ensure accurate, compliant, and strategic management of corporate tax matters, supporting business growth while helping the company meet its tax obligations effectively and on time. Sitting at the intersection of strategy, finance, and law, the Corporate Tax Coordinator will translate complex tax rules into practical guidance, influence how the business structures new initiatives, enters markets, and invests for the future, and support smarter ways of working across corporate tax processes.

Because here, we don’t just hire for jobs. We invite you to be part of something bigger.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Calculate and report corporate income taxes, including current, deferred, and contingent amounts, as well as taxes related to cross-border transactions such as royalties, cost-sharing arrangements, dividends, interest, CIDE, and IOF.
  • Apply knowledge of different accounting standards, including Brazilian accounting rules and International Financial Reporting Standards, explaining how differences between them impact the company’s tax position.
  • Work with transfer pricing and international tax frameworks, including global minimum tax rules under Pillar Two and guidelines issued by the OECD.
  • Secure and maintain tax incentives, such as Lei do Bem, Leis de Incentivo, PAT, and Empresa Cidadã.
  • Review and supervise tax calculations, payments, and returns to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Monitor and manage tax contingencies and exposures, ensuring risks remain visible, well controlled, and properly addressed.
  • Analyze and interpret corporate tax legislation, translating complex rules into clear, practical, and actionable advice for the business.
  • Contribute to tax planning initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions and the design of new business models.
  • Support corporate tax strategy and forecasting, including analysis of the company’s effective tax rate, and prepare global and local tax reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams as an internal consultant and coordinate internal and external tax audits, acting as a key point of contact during tax authority audits.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with transfer pricing, Pillar Two, OECD guidelines, and cross-border tax matters.
  • Solid experience in corporate taxation and international taxation, ideally within a multinational company or advisory environment.
  • Strong understanding of corporate income tax calculations, tax reporting, tax compliance routines, and tax obligations in Brazil.
  • Ability to work with accounting standards and interpret them alongside tax rules, including Brazilian accounting rules and International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and curiosity to understand the drivers behind tax numbers and business impacts.
  • Ability to explain technical tax matters clearly to stakeholders who are not tax specialists, with a collaborative, proactive working style and strong ownership.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous exposure to tax incentives, such as Lei do Bem, Leis de Incentivo, PAT, or Empresa Cidadã.
  • Experience supporting tax planning, M&A projects, business model design, tax forecasting, effective tax rate analysis, or audits with tax authorities.
