Job description
As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in validating the Jira Service Management Cloud platform and ensuring a smooth transition from ServiceNow.
Your responsibilities will include:
Building and maintaining automated tests across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels
Designing and executing test cases for Jira Service Management and related Atlassian Marketplace applications
Validating migrated data and verifying data accuracy, completeness, attachments, and comments after migration
Performing regression, integration, load, and stress testing
Identifying, tracking, and supporting resolution of defects
Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and preparing test reports
Contributing to release readiness assessments and go-live activities
Collaborating with an agile delivery team in Scrum ceremonies and project workshops
Requirements
Strong experience with automated testing of Atlassian Cloud solutions
Hands-on experience testing Jira Service Management environments
Experience validating data migrations using reconciliation and data quality checks
Knowledge of test automation frameworks and test design practices
Experience with regression testing, defect management, and release validation
Professional working proficiency in English
Independent and detail-oriented working style
Nice to have
Atlassian Certified ITSM Specialist certification
Atlassian Cloud Fundamentals and Forge Fundamentals certifications
Experience with Jira-integrated test management tools (e.g., Xray)
Experience with load and performance testing
Experience preparing release readiness or test completion reports
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated quality controls
German language skills
