Senior ServiceNow Developer

What success looks like in this role:

• Lead the design, development, configuration, and support of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, and custom applications.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, integrations, business rules, client scripts, Flow Designer solutions, and custom applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions, and translate business needs into technical designs.
• Support platform transition and transformation activities, including knowledge transfer, process improvements, and service onboarding.
• Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems using REST APIs, Microsoft technologies, and third-party platforms.
• Perform code reviews, ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, and maintain platform governance standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues, providing L3 technical support and root cause analysis.
• Support platform upgrades, patching, release management, and regression testing activities.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, user experience, and service delivery.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, design documents, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team capability development through knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
• Work closely with customer stakeholders, transition teams, architects, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of business outcomes.
• Ensure system security, performance, scalability, and compliance with organizational standards and best practices.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript), Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and platform customizations.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations and transitions.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
