Task

Design, develop, and maintain software solutions supporting ultrasound reporting and clinical workflowsDevelop and integrate structured medical reporting solutions using TypeScript, XML, JSON, and SQL databasesCollaborate with product owners, clinicians, and domain experts to understand user needs, define requirements, and translate them into high-quality technical solutionsPartner with UX designers to create intuitive and efficient user experiencesExplore, evaluate, and apply emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), to enhance product capabilities, improve user experiences, and accelerate innovation and the development processParticipate in agile development activities including sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectivesContribute to software quality through automated testing, peer reviews, and continuous integration practicesSupport interoperability and integration with healthcare IT ecosystemsHelp drive innovation in digital ultrasound workflows and reporting solutions

Expectation

Strong software engineering background with a deep interest in clinical workflows or clinical background with interest in building software solutionsProfessional software engineering experience, ideally in medical softwareExperience in agile software development, processes and tools such as Bitbucket/GitHub and JIRAProfessional experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, XML, JSON, and SQLCollaborative team player and openness to continuous developmentMindset of innovation and continuous improvementProfessional-level English communication skills

Other

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Computing, Medical Engineering, or an equivalent university degreeUnderstanding of clinical workflows and medical terminology and ideally SNOMED CTExperience with Java, C++, Angular, NestJS, REST APIs, and modern web application architectureExperience in using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar AI-assisted development tools to improve quality, efficiency, and workflows in software developmentKnowledge of ultrasound imaging, reporting, and workflows in OB, GYN, cardiovascular, or gastrointestinal ultrasoundFamiliarity with healthcare interoperability standards and healthcare information systems such as FHIR, HL7, and DICOM
