UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition. Key Responsibilities

• Support the OET Lead in strengthening the AFC Operations risk and control environment through governance oversight, workforce management, performance reporting, and quality assurance activities.
• Conduct reviews of operational processes and controls, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend enhancements to drive efficiency, productivity, and control effectiveness.
• Lead and support transformation initiatives across AFC Operations, including policy and SOP updates, process optimization, technology implementation, and remediation of control gaps.
• Manage Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities, including plan maintenance, testing, remediation tracking, and crisis management support to ensure operational resilience.
• Oversee Key Operational Risk Indicators (KORI) and Key Risk & Control Self-Assessments (KRCSA), including assurance reviews, risk identification, control assessments, and mitigation tracking.
• Promote a strong risk and compliance culture through communications, awareness initiatives, training programmes, and sharing of key risk, regulatory, and policy developments.
• Provide coaching and guidance on risk management, governance, and control standards while supporting team capability building and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support performance management through KPI scorecards, workforce metrics, performance analysis, and talent development initiatives.
• Coordinate Business Risk & Control Management (BRCM), audit engagements, regulatory reviews, and remediation activities to ensure a robust control environment and timely closure of findings.
• Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across AFC Operations, Compliance, Risk, Audit, Technology, and other functions to drive governance, transformation, and strategic initiatives.

Job Requirements

• 8 years and above of direct experience in Financial Crime, Risk Assessment or Quality Assurance in Financial Services, Banking or Regulatory environment
• Demonstrated capability to interpret complex requirements and be a self-starter
• Demonstrated experience of being a part of cross-functional initiatives (Business, Compliance, Technology, Legal)
• Analytical mind with sound business insight, excellent communicator (verbal and written), highly meticulous, and self-motivated
