Adjunct Faculty - Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science at Keene State College seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach undergraduate courses in computer science, with a primary focus on cybersecurity and related areas. Specific course assignments will be determined based on departmental needs and the faculty member’s academic and professional background. The position supports the department’s instructional needs by providing high-quality undergraduate teaching, evaluating student learning, and working collaboratively with department faculty. The Adjunct Faculty member is expected to maintain appropriate academic standards and provide students with effective instruction and timely feedback.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate computer science courses with a focus on cybersecurity
• Develop course syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials
• Design and grade assignments, exams, and projects
• Provide students with timely and constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate grade records in accordance with college policies
• Collaborate with full-time faculty to ensure course consistency
• Uphold academic integrity and institutional policies
• Hold regular office hours to support student learning
• Stay current with developments in cybersecurity and computing

Compensation Pay Range:

$800/credit or $840/credit for those with terminal degrees
