Business Development Manager - Colombia

What You’ll Do

• Drive new business acquisition by building a strong pipeline of prospective merchants and closing deals.
• Build your own pipeline through your network and your own lead generation, with no dependency on inbound.
• Own your forecast and results: keep Salesforce up to date, report daily, and take full accountability for your numbers.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and partners that support sustainable growth.
• Work closely with internal teams to gain a deep understanding of Unlimit's products, services, and ways of working.
• Stay on top of industry trends, developments in the payments landscape, and emerging technologies.
• Represent Unlimit as a brand ambassador as we continue to grow our presence in Colombia.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of experience in the payments industry.
• Strong experience in cross-border acquiring (must-have); local acquiring experience in Colombia is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of Colombia's local payment ecosystem (PSE, Nequi, Daviplata, Bre-B).
• 2+ years of proven experience selling to enterprise merchants.
• A true hunter, not a farmer: you go out and find new clients, and you're creative about standing out from the crowd.
• Industry expert with deep knowledge of key merchant verticals such as retail, ecommerce, travel, and gaming.
• Excellent negotiator who knows that a yes often starts with a no.
• Commercially driven, with a goal-oriented mindset.
• Organized and methodical: planning is key to meeting our merchants' needs.
• Passionate about what you do, with a real drive to win.
• Fluent Spanish and professional English.
