Job Description:
for the position of Supervisor (m/f/d) in the Aircraft Maintenance Department, based at Cologne/Bonn Airport (Germany), effective as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the maintenance and repair of UPS-owned aircraft both domestically and internationally.
- Ensure the reliable and professional execution of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
- Plan and coordinate spare parts required for maintenance and repair work.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities within the Aircraft Maintenance department.
- Support the efficient and smooth operation of maintenance processes.
Qualifications
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Several years of professional experience and working knowledge of A300-600, B757, B767, and B747-400/-8 aircraft.
- Authorization to perform engine ground runs.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office, Outlook, and related applications.
- Excellent written and spoken English and German language skills.
- Degree in Aviation or a related field preferred.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Process-oriented approach to work and decision-making.
- High level of commitment, resilience, and willingness to travel.
Working Hours
In accordance with operational requirements (39 hours/week)
Compensation
Salary to be agreed based on qualifications and experience, in accordance with Salary Group IV.
