Want to lead healthcare logistics operations at a global company? At Marken we are looking for an Operations Manager to drive operational excellence at our Buenos Aires branch.
Opportunity overview
Marken, a UPS Company, is looking for a leader to run our Buenos Aires branch operations, ensuring reliable service, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement in healthcare logistics, while developing high-performing teams aligned with local and global objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead branch operations, ensuring service excellence, efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure shipments meet customer requirements, delivery times and quality standards.
- Monitor and improve operational and quality KPIs (OTP, POD, POB, Maestro).
- Define and execute operational plans aligned with local, regional and global objectives.
- Manage key relationships with customers, agents, airlines and carriers.
- Manage risks, service disruptions and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with GDP, regulations, trade requirements and audits.
- Lead operational excellence initiatives and local and regional projects.
- Train, develop and coach teams.
- Support business growth in partnership with the Commercial team.
Profile requirements (essential)
- Education: University degree in International Trade (Comercio Exterior).
- Work experience: Track record in operations management and team leadership (for example in plants, warehouses or consumer goods). Years of experience: to be confirmed.
- Technical knowledge: International trade, customs, airports and airlines; 100% air operations.
- Language: Advanced English (essential), due to global meetings with the United States.
- Skills: Leadership, empathy, teamwork under pressure, stakeholder management and customer relationship management.
Desirable requirements
- Pharma or healthcare experience (to be confirmed).
