Data Scientist

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist.
• Mandatory: B. Tech in Computer Science (CSE) from a Tier-1 engineering institute (IITs, IIITs, BITS Pilani, top NITs).
• Strong foundation in Machine Learning, Statistics, Probability, Linear Algebra, and Data Structures & Algorithms.
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Experience building, training, validating, and deploying ML models for production use cases.
• Strong understanding of supervised/unsupervised learning, feature engineering, model evaluation, cross-validation, and hyperparameter tuning.
• Experience with classification, regression, clustering, recommendation systems, and time-series forecasting.
• Good knowledge of data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and statistical hypothesis testing.
• Experience working with REST APIs, Git, and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azureand ML deployment is preferred.

Good to Have:

• Experience with NLP, LLMs, RAG, or Generative AI.
• Exposure to MLOps tools such as MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with distributed data processing using Spark or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of Vector Databases, embeddings, and model serving.
• Experience optimising models for scalability and production performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to own end-to-end ML solutions from experimentation to deployment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for solving real-world business problems using data and AI.
