Java Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Java Engineer to design, develop, and optimise enterprise-scale Supply Chain Management systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Supplier Management, and Goods Listing platforms. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Java, distributed systems, system design, and modern AI technologies, with the ability to contribute to both technical architecture and business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Supply Chain Management applications including WMS, Supplier Management, and Goods Listing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to supply chain and finance applications while ensuring high system availability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Operations teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-impact business solutions.
• Participate in technical architecture, domain modelling, system decomposition, and scalable solution design.
• Build high-performance backend services using Java and distributed system principles.
• Continuously improve platform reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Evaluate and integrate AI/LLM-powered capabilities into supply chain workflows where applicable.
• Communicate technical solutions effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies in Java, AI, distributed computing, and enterprise architecture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
• Experience designing enterprise backend applications and RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of UNIX/Linux environments.
• Experience with relational databases and distributed databases.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, consistency models, and system architecture.
• Experience in domain-driven design, module decomposition, and extensible system development.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
