  • Design and improve procedures and operational processes to enhance performance, reduce costs, and support efficient, productive operations while addressing applicable legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Analyze strategic and operational plans to assess their impact on existing processes and determine the feasibility, risks, resource requirements, and potential benefits of modifications needed to support mission requirements, organizational goals, and strategic business initiatives
  • Provide expert advisory support to leadership on systemic performance challenges, process-improvement opportunities, and strategic approaches for improving business operations and organizational outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and operational requirements into data solutions that improve processes, enhance products and services, and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of IT tools and systems

  • Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience
  • To be creditable, you must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to GS-13 in the Federal service
  • Performing a variety of duties involving statistical and mathematical analyses in support of the information technology (IT) needs of the business unit
  • Collecting, integrating, and analyzing large structured and unstructured data from various internal and external sources, such as automated systems and tools, internal IT systems, and public databases to propose operational improvements
  • Preparing reports using machine learning, programming, and data visualization skills to present organization findings to senior leadership and executives
  • Developing innovative tools and algorithms to streamline workflows, improve efficiencies, identify shortfalls and gaps, troubleshoot data issues, and propose ways to mitigate program risk
  • Applications will only be accepted from United States Citizens and Nationals
