DevOps Infrastructure Engineer
The Role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to support the implementation of infrastructure and DevOps solutions. The ideal candidate will assist in building and configuring virtualized environments, implementing CI/CD pipelines, deploying DevOps toolchains, and developing automation frameworks using Python. The role requires strong Linux administration, cloud/infrastructure knowledge, and hands-on experience with DevOps practices and automation.
What You’ll Do
- Configure, deploy, and manage Virtual Machines across development, test, and production environments.
- Support implementation and maintenance of Infrastructure and DevOps solutions as defined by client team.
- Assist in the deployment and administration of CI/CD tools and pipelines.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using Python.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
- Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve software release processes and operational efficiency.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure and DevOps environments.
- Document deployment procedures, automation workflows, and operational best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for DevOps processes and platform reliability.

What You Need
Required
- Good Windows OS administration skills
- Linux OS administration skills
- Understanding of DevOps practices, deployment automation, and release management.
- Strong troubleshooting, scripting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in Docker/Containerd and Kubernetes
- Continuous integration using Jenkins and GitHub actions
- Knowledge of Splunk, Ansible and Prometheus
- Experience working in a support organization and incident handling
- Experience coding in Python
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner/Azure Fundamentals certification

Location & Compensation
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
