Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer / SDET with strong expertise in Java-based automation, ATG platforms, and API testing within the Retail/Ecommerce domain.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in modern test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and quality engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute test strategies, plans, and processes
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java
• Perform API testing (REST & GraphQL) using Postman and Rest Assured
• Implement contract testing using Pact
• Create mocks and stubs using WireMock
• Develop BDD test scenarios using Cucumber
• Perform integration testing for microservices and backend systems
• Integrate automation suites into GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Manage builds using Gradle or similar tools
• Generate reports using Allure
• Manage test cases and defects using XRay
• Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams
• Ensure quality standards across the SDLC

  Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java and ATG (Oracle Commerce)
• Hands-on API testing (REST, GraphQL)
• Experience with Pact and WireMock
• Mandatory experience with Cucumber (BDD)
• Good understanding of STLC and QA methodologies
• Experience with Gradle/Maven build tools
• Familiarity with Allure reporting and XRay test management
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred)
