Job SummaryValero Developments is seeking an experienced Finance Manager with a strong background in the real estate development sector to oversee the company's financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, manage cash flow, and support strategic financial decision-making.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the company's overall financial operations, accounting activities, and financial reporting.
Develop and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts, and business plans.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure efficient financial management.
Monitor project budgets, costs, expenses, and financial performance across real estate developments.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial requirements.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and general ledger activities.
Monitor project profitability, cost control, and budget variances.
Coordinate with banks, external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
Establish and improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decisions.
Lead, supervise, and develop the finance and accounting team.
Requirements
Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
7–10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, including at least 3–5 years in a managerial position.
Mandatory experience in the Real Estate Development sector.
Strong knowledge of real estate project accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and cost control.
Solid understanding of financial reporting, taxation, and applicable accounting standards.
Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Very good command of English.
Professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, or ACCA are preferred.
