Technology Strategy & Onboarding Analyst

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to how technology decisions are assessed and shaped across complex business environments. As a Technology Strategy & Onboarding Analyst, you will support structured solution reviews, help translate business needs into technology assessments, and work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to inform onboarding and architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding activities for new applications and technology platforms.
• Review vendor proposals, RFP responses, technical documentation, and solution submissions.
• Assess technology solutions against business requirements and relevant industry practices.
• Prepare onboarding recommendations, assessment reports, and management summaries.
• Maintain technology onboarding registers and assessment repositories.
• Assess solutions against business capabilities and enterprise architecture principles.
• Support the development and maintenance of BIAN-aligned business capability maps.
• Evaluate application fit, overlaps, rationalization opportunities, and integration impacts.
• Develop high-level architecture diagrams, capability maps, and heatmaps.
• Support target-state architecture definition across areas such as Lending, Trade, Treasury, Data, and Digital Channels.
• Participate in vendor demonstrations, workshops, and technical evaluation sessions.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in technology strategy, onboarding, business analysis, solution evaluation, or closely related work.
• Hands-on experience in technology assessment, business analysis, solution evaluation, and technology onboarding.
• Strong proficiency with banking technology architecture, business capability mapping, application assessment and rationalization, and integration impact analysis.
• Experience applying enterprise architecture principles and structured technology or solution assessment methodologies.
• Strong hands-on proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, assessment reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Experience working with vendor interactions, solution reviews, workshops, and demonstrations.
• Proven ability to present assessment findings and recommendations to management or senior stakeholders and coordinate with architecture, delivery, infrastructure, security, and related teams.
• Strong English proficiency for vendor documentation, technology assessments, reports, and management presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Banking or Financial Services, Technology Consulting, Enterprise Applications, Business Analysis, PMO, or Digital Transformation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technology or business field.
• Experience with Visio or Draw.io for documentation and architecture work.
• Familiarity with BIAN, business capability mapping, or enterprise architecture tools.
• Knowledge of banking domains such as Lending, Trade Finance, Treasury, Data, or Digital Channels.
• Knowledge of BIAN as a banking architecture framework.
• TOGAF, CBAP, PMP, or a similar certification in enterprise architecture, business analysis, project management, or technology governance.
• English proficiency for communication with local business and technology stakeholders.
