Job Summary
As a Manufacturing and Warehouse Solutions Consultant, your primary focus will be delivering billable services such as implementations, training, assessments, and tailored solutions to our manufacturing and distribution customers. Strong project management is central to the role, and you will own project plans, timelines, and resource coordination across multiple concurrent engagements from kickoff through go-live. Operational insight matters just as much. You will need to understand how product moves through a warehouse, map the process flows behind it, and design solutions that gain efficiency while reducing the complexity and handling that lead to errors on the floor. On-site engagement with customers is encouraged and may account for up to half of your time.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Service Delivery, Execution, and Project Management:
You will perform business assessment walkthroughs virtually or on-site, recommend process improvements and automation, and document your findings as a blueprint for success with specifications for any tailored applications. From there you own delivery end to end, including end-user training, project plans and timelines, resource coordination, risk mitigation, status reporting through go-live, and accurate documentation of project scope, deliverables, and time tracking against each engagement. This is hands-on technical work involving SQL, data analysis, and system configuration today, expanding into REST API integrations and process flow design as our offerings evolve, and maintaining a consistently high level of billable utilization is a core expectation of the role.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
You will serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned accounts through implementation, training, and go-live support, building strong relationships as you go. You will work closely with Sales Consultants to transition projects cleanly from the sales cycle into delivery, and communicate goals, timelines, and expectations clearly to both internal teams and customers.
3. Customer Satisfaction and Retention:
Proactively monitor customer satisfaction and address concerns promptly to support long-term retention and minimize churn.
4. Identifying Growth Opportunities:
Analyze customer needs and pain points to identify opportunities for additional services, working with the sales team to expand revenue within existing accounts.
