Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, build strategic client relationships and drive business growth within the oil and gas and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify project opportunities and secure new contracts.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and achieve business development targets.
  • Prepare business proposals, tenders and commercial presentations.
  • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of the Nigerian oil and gas industry is an advantage.
  • Performance will be assessed based on:
    • Growth of the company's market presence.
    • Quality and success rate of tenders and proposals.
    • New business opportunities generated.
    • Contracts and projects secured.
    • Development and retention of strategic client relationships.
    • Revenue growth and achievement of business targets.
  • Strong communication, networking, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven experience in client acquisition, tendering, contract negotiation and business growth.
  • 3-4 years of experiencein business development, preferably within the oil and gas or EPCIC sector.
