THE ROLE
We are looking for a detail-driven finance professional to join our Operational Finance and Treasury team in Grand Baie. You will play a key role in keeping our financial processes running smoothly — handling client payments, invoice management, refund reconciliation, and audit support.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their finance career who wants hands-on exposure to finance operations and institutional client finance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and verify the client payment run on a daily and monthly basis
- Identify, allocate, and record refunds received into the business
- Prepare and follow up on client invoices to ensure timely collection
- Liaise with tax offices on outstanding claims and follow up proactively
- Work closely with the Client Debtors and Treasury teams on daily tasks and ad-hoc projects
- Perform financial analyses and investigations as required
- Assist with the annual external audit process
- Special projects
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced Excel skills advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills (as you will be communicating with internal and External stakeholders)
- Interest or experience in Power BI / large data handling
- Proactive, collaborative, and motivated attitude
- Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
