About the Role

VDL Fulfilment is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and accountable Quality Assurance Associate to join its Warehouse Operations team in Haasto.

In this role, you will inspect incoming goods, monitor inventory accuracy, conduct quality checks throughout warehouse operations, and ensure that products meet established quality standards before dispatch. You will also identify discrepancies, maintain accurate records, and report quality issues promptly to support efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect Incoming Goods: Receive and inspect goods delivered by vendors, verify quantities and product conditions, and confirm the accuracy of delivery documents.
• Verify Product Quality: Ensure products meet required quality specifications and agreed standards.
• Identify Defective Products: Detect and report defective, damaged, counterfeit, or incorrectly supplied goods.
• Report Discrepancies: Document and escalate shortages, excess deliveries, discrepancies, and other quality issues to the Warehouse Manager.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Keep inventory, labelling, storage, and goods-receiving records accurate and up to date.
• Conduct Operational Quality Checks: Inspect goods during picking, packing, sorting, dispatch, and returns processing to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Monitor Inventory Accuracy: Track inventory records and investigate missing or misplaced packages.
• Enforce Warehouse Standards: Follow and support compliance with established warehouse procedures and quality standards.
• Prepare Quality Reports: Compile daily quality assurance reports and follow up on identified issues to ensure timely resolution.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Three (3) to seven (7) years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, quality control, or inventory management.
• Strong analytical, record-keeping, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and accountability.
