About the Role

Join the Veeam Quality Assurance team and work on Veeam products with experienced QA professionals in the Lisbon R&D office.QA has the power to breathe life into our products. Testers are always at the center of the action: developing an idea, thinking through functionality, and conducting a thousand complex experiments - and this is not the limit.Our QA work is deeply hands-on, focused on functional checks, exploratory approaches, and verifying real usage scenarios to ensure that “Veeam just works.” 

What You’ll Do

• “Deep diving” into our products, technology and profession 
• Analyzing software requirements 
• Testing one or several Veeam products 
• Communicating with other participants of the product development process 
• Evaluating test results, maintaining defects database 

What You’ll Bring

• Technical education background or a strong passion for technology
• 1-2 years of experience in system administration, software testing, or software development
• Strong motivation to grow professionally in the software testing field
• Advanced knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems
• Good understanding of networking technologies and systems (DNS, DHCP, basic network configuration, etc.)
• Curiosity and attention to detail, with a natural ability to identify flaws - key qualities for hands-on testing
• Open-mindedness, strong common sense, and clear logical thinking
• Fast learner with enthusiasm for interesting and challenging tasks (passion is valued as much as experience)
• English proficiency sufficient for daily communication within international teams
