Solution Consultant - Commercial Basics

The Role

As a Solution Consultant on the Veeva Commercial Basics team, you'll be the technical and storytelling engine behind our sales cycle-translating the power of our pre-configured Vault applications into clear, compelling value for emerging biotech customers. You'll lead product demonstrations, build presentations and demo videos, and partner closely with our Product team to shape where Commercial Basics goes next.

What You'll Do

• Lead the technical side of the sales cycle-discovery, product demonstrations, and technical Q&A-across the Commercial Basics portfolio (CRM, PromoMats, and MedComms)
• Produce 10+ new demo videos over your first year to scale our reach beyond live meetings
• Build and deliver presentations that connect product functionality to tangible customer value
• Respond to sales technical, strategy, and demo requests from across the field
• Partner with the Product team on roadmap planning, requirements, and strategy
• Host webinars and represent Commercial Basics at industry events such as Veeva Summit

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience delivering software demonstrations in a solution consulting, pre-sales, or comparable customer-facing role
• Proven ability to articulate value by connecting product functionality to customer outcomes
• Strong presentation-building and delivery skills
• A quick learner who can rapidly get up to speed on new products and domains
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with demo video production
• Experience with Veeva Vault or other life sciences commercial/medical software
• Background in life sciences, pharma, or emerging biotech
• Experience hosting webinars or presenting at industry conferences

Compensation

• Base pay: $80,000 - $160,000
• The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
