Join a team that transforms ambitious ideas into products and solutions used worldwide. If you are an experienced project leader who thrives in complexity, aligns stakeholders around common goals, and delivers business impact, this could be your next opportunity at VELUX.

Meet your future team

You will join the Project Execution team within Products & Innovation - Accessories and Digital Solutions.

Our team turns strategic ambitions into products and solutions that create customer value globally.

We work across a broad portfolio that includes internal blinds, external heat protection products and digital solutions that increasingly connect and enhance our product offerings.

Working across the value chain, we use stage-gate, agile and hybrid approaches to bring new products to market and improve existing solutions.

What we offer

As Senior Project Manager, you will own strategically important development projects from concept and business case through industrialisation and market launch.

You will ensure successful delivery while balancing business objectives, customer value and organisational alignment. Working with senior stakeholders, you will help shape future products, capabilities and ways of working.

More specifically, your tasks will be to:

  • Lead high-impact product development projects from concept through to market launch, working in a complex matrix organisation

  • Drive execution across R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial and other key functions

  • Develop and manage business cases, project plans, budgets and governance structures

  • Ensure delivery of projects on time, within scope and within budget

  • Identify, assess and manage risks while maintaining transparency and quality throughout project execution

  • Build alignment among stakeholders, including senior leaders and executives

  • Support organisational development through coaching of project managers and cross-functional teams

  • Contribute to initiatives that strengthen competitiveness, sustainability and customer value

Projects may include product launches, digital solutions, sustainability improvements and initiatives focused on simplification, cost optimisation and capability building.

What you will bring

You have a strong track record of delivering complex projects and programmes.

You combine strong project management expertise with collaborative leadership and the ability to navigate complexity through influence and clear direction.

You enjoy working across functions and cultures and creating results together with others.

You build trust quickly, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and maintain momentum in challenging environments.

Moreover, we expect that you:

  • Hold a degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management or a related field

  • Have significant experience leading large cross-functional engineering projects or programmes

  • Have strong knowledge of product development processes, stage-gate and/or agile methodologies

  • Possess solid commercial and financial understanding, including business case and budget ownership

  • Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all organisational levels, incorporating commercial considerations into decisions and communication

  • Bring a coaching mindset and develop both teams and individuals

  • Take ownership, show resilience and consistently deliver on commitments

  • Experience managing outsourced product development and external partners, including requirements management, scope control, and delivery within agreed cost, timeline and quality targets

  • Experience leading development of connected products integrated with digital platforms is highly valued

  • Experience from mechanical, hardware and/or digital product development environments is preferred

  • Preferably hold a recognised project management certification such as IPMA Level B or equivalent
