In Strategic Procurement, you secure our supply of electronic components - with strong negotiation skills, technical understanding and solid procurement experience.

We are looking for a Strategic Procurement Manager (gn) to join our purchasing team at our production site in Fulda, starting immediately, on a part-time basis (20 to 30 hours per week).

Your Role

• You further develop and implement the procurement strategy for electronic components and selected commodity groups
• You expand our supplier portfolio, from market analysis to the approval of new suppliers
• You lead annual, framework and contract negotiations and draft supply contracts and quality assurance agreements
• You are responsible for supplier evaluation and development, working closely with the quality department
• You identify supply risks such as allocations, obsolescence or single sourcing at an early stage and take countermeasures
• You identify cost-saving potential and manage it using meaningful procurement KPIs
• You are the go-to person for strategic supplier decisions for project purchasing, hardware development and product management

Your Skills

• You hold a university degree, e.g. in business administration, technical business administration or industrial engineering, or have completed equivalent vocational training
• You have several years of professional experience in strategic procurement, ideally in the electronics industry
• You have a good understanding of electronic components and their procurement markets
• You have experience in contract design and supplier management
• You have very good SAP and MS Office skills
• You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• You think strategically and work analytically and in a structured way
• You are confident, a skilled negotiator and assertive
• You work independently, take ownership and show initiative
