Vertiv is seeking CNC Operators of various experience levels for both 1st and 2nd shifts to support the production of critical infrastructure solutions. Whether you are an experienced CNC Machinist, CNC Setup Operator, or a developing CNC Operator looking to grow your skills, we have opportunities available. This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC equipment, performing quality inspections, reading blueprints, and ensuring production goals are met in a safe manufacturing environment
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines for drilling, milling, cutting, and machining operations.
- Load materials, monitor machine performance, and make adjustments as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings.
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain quality, safety, and 5S standards.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to meet production goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CNC manufacturing experience required; opportunities available for different skill and experience levels.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail.
- CNC setup, tool offsets, and metal fabrication experience preferred for advanced-level positions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Perform repetitive tasks and work safely around manufacturing equipment.
