Responsibilities
- Implement preventive process control (PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, audits, firewalls/containment gates)
- Lead NC handling and rapid containment (supplier, internal and customer)
- Execute 8D / DMAIC / 5-Why root cause analysis
- Verify effectiveness after corrective action implementation
- Govern internal escalation process levels 1- 2
- Prioritize and run CI / Kaizen with focus on preventive quality
- Coach standard work and visual management, support CoPQ reduction
- Identify elevated NC/defect areas and support reinforcement training programmes
- Integrate digital quality into QMS for NC/test/traceability data
- Support projects for introduction of new products
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification
- Problem-solving training (8D/A3) verified
- Core Tools/SPC training
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- APQP 4 wind is plus
- At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations
- VDA6.3 process audit, VDA6.5 product audit
Competencies
- Preventive process control: Ability to run PFMEA, control plans, SPC, MSA and confirmations to prevent defects.
- Containment and NC handling: Ability to contain NCs fast and protect the customer and downstream steps.
- Structured RCA: Ability to run 8D/DMAIC/5-Why and define effective corrective actions.
- Quality governance processes: Ability to manage QBD L1-3 and calibration adherence.
- Quality coaching and CI: Ability to coach standard work/visual management and CoPQ reduction with Kaizen.
- Communication skills.
