Operations Manager

We are looking for an Operations Manager to own how a Vetaion control cabinet gets built, from the customer order to the finished cabinet. The role combines project management and industrial engineering: you run our customer projects end-to-end and improve the process they run through. This is a rare opportunity to build an AI-first production company from 0 to 1.

Tasks

• Own the project management from customer order, through procurement and tracking of parts, production and shipping the cabinet.
• Improve our end-to-end production process: process steps, station layout, and inventory management on the floor.
• Find the bottlenecks that keep us from scaling, and fix them.
• Build automations for manual tasks around procurement, logistics and production planning together with our AI and Automation Engineer
• Collaborate with our Head of Production, the Founder, and our software team to set and implement production standards.

Requirements

• Master's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or a production-related field with strong grades.
• 2+ years in a high paced environment, such as consulting or a startup.
• Humble, low ego, not afraid to get your hands dirty.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing or process optimization.
• Get things done mentality: prioritising progress and results over process.
• AI first: you automate your own work before anyone asks you to.
• Fluent in English, German is a plus.

Vetaion is building a fully automated production facility for control cabinets in Munich. We use digital twins and robotics to automate the manufacturing process, orchestrated by VetaionOS, our own operating system for the factory.
