VetEvolve is a veterinary practice network based in Richmond, Virginia, that acquires and partners with independent animal hospitals and supports them with clinical and operational resources. Founded in 2014 by Marine Reconnaissance veterans Paul Habenicht and Nick Lodestro and now led by CEO Catherine Howell, it counts 55 practices across eight eastern states and runs a Support from the Start mentorship program for new veterinarians. Most openings are DVM/VMD student externships, licensed, certified and unlicensed veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants at member hospitals, plus corporate talent acquisition roles.
