Intern – Generative AI & Prompt Engineer (Video Editing & Creative Content)

Position Overview

We are looking for a creative and tech-savvy Generative AI & Prompt Engineering Intern with a strong interest in AI-generated video production, prompt engineering, video editing, storytelling, and digital marketing.

The ideal candidate should be able to transform a marketing objective or simple idea into a complete video concept, including script development, AI-generated visuals, cinematic scenes, transitions, editing, and final delivery.

You will work with modern AI video-generation and creative tools to produce engaging content across different genres, cultures, formats, and marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create AI-generated videos using tools such as PixVerse, Kling AI, and other emerging generative AI video platforms.
• Develop effective and detailed AI prompts for generating characters, environments, camera movements, cinematic shots, animations, and visual effects.
• Convert marketing ideas into scripts, storyboards, shot lists, and complete video concepts.
• Create different types of content, including:
  • Commercial advertisements
  • Story-based videos
  • Cinematic promotional videos
  • Social media content
  • Brand awareness videos
  • Travel and tourism content
  • Product/service advertisements
  • Emotional and inspirational storytelling
  • Educational and informational videos
• Generate content from different perspectives, genres, moods, and creative directions.
• Understand and appropriately represent Arab, Islamic, South Asian, and other cultural contexts, including clothing, environments, architecture, traditions, gestures, and social settings.
• Edit and enhance AI-generated footage using CapCut or other professional video-editing software.
• Apply smooth and creative:
  • Transitions
  • Camera effects
  • Motion effects
  • Text animations
  • Speed ramps
  • Sound effects
  • Visual effects
  • Color adjustments
  • Cinematic effects
• Combine AI-generated footage with voiceovers, music, sound design, graphics, subtitles, and branding elements.
• Maintain visual consistency between AI-generated scenes, including characters, locations, clothing, lighting, and overall visual style.
• Experiment with new AI tools, workflows, techniques, and creative approaches.
• Continuously improve prompts and generation workflows to achieve higher-quality results.
• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure every video has a clear marketing purpose and call-to-action.
• Understand how to create videos that capture attention within the first few seconds and maintain viewer engagement.
• Produce content optimized for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and other digital channels.

Marketing & Creative Requirements

The candidate should understand that creating a visually impressive AI video is not enough. Every video should support a marketing objective.

You should be able to:

• Understand the target audience.
• Identify the purpose of a video before creating it.
• Develop concepts that communicate a clear message.
• Create strong hooks and attention-grabbing openings.
• Use storytelling to create emotional engagement.
• Incorporate branding naturally into the video.
• Create compelling calls-to-action (CTA).
• Think from a customer's perspective.
• Create content that can generate awareness, engagement, leads, inquiries, or conversions.
• Adapt the same concept into different creative angles and formats.
• Understand basic principles of digital marketing, advertising, audience psychology, and social media content.

Creative Thinking

We are looking for someone who can think beyond instructions.

You should be comfortable taking a simple idea such as:

…and developing it into a complete concept with:

Idea → Hook → Script → Story → Shot Breakdown → AI Prompts → Video Generation → Editing → Sound Design → Marketing CTA → Final Video

The candidate should be capable of proposing new concepts and creative directions independently, rather than simply following a predefined prompt.

Required Skills

Generative AI

• Experience with AI video-generation platforms such as PixVerse, Kling AI, and similar tools.
• Strong interest in learning new Generative AI tools.
• Ability to write detailed and structured prompts.
• Understanding of camera angles, camera movement, lighting, composition, environment, character descriptions, and cinematic styles.
• Ability to troubleshoot poor AI generations and improve prompts iteratively.

Video Editing

• Proficiency in CapCut or another video-editing application.
• Understanding of transitions and pacing.
• Knowledge of cinematic effects and motion effects.
• Basic understanding of sound design and music synchronization.
• Ability to create smooth, professional-looking edits.
• Understanding of aspect ratios and formats for social media.

Creative & Storytelling

• Strong imagination and creative thinking.
• Ability to develop stories and commercial concepts.
• Ability to create content in multiple genres and perspectives.
• Strong visual sense.
• Understanding of storytelling, pacing, hooks, and emotional impact.

Marketing

• Basic understanding of digital marketing and advertising.
• Understanding of social media content.
• Ability to create videos around marketing objectives.
• Understanding of audience engagement and conversion principles.

Cultural Awareness

• Strong cultural awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to research and accurately represent different cultures.
• Knowledge of Arabic/Islamic cultural environments is highly advantageous.
• Understanding of appropriate clothing, architecture, traditions, locations, gestures, and visual representation is preferred.

Educational Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Marketing, Multimedia, Software Engineering, or a related field.
