About MFI
MFI is back, and we’re building something truly special! As an ambitious, exclusively online home brand, MFI is dedicated to helping our customers create beautiful, inspiring spaces right across the home-from cozy bedrooms to stylish dining rooms.
Are you an analytical thinker with a passion for e-commerce, numbers, and home interiors? MFI is growing fast, and our Product Team is looking for a sharp, organised, and proactive Junior Merchandiser to help drive our stock planning, intake management, and trading performance.
The Role
In this role, you’ll be a core engine driving our stock availability and range performance. Working closely alongside our Buyers, Merchandiser, and commercial partners, you will turn data into direction-ensuring our digital shelves are fully stocked, our intake flows smoothly, and our customers can always find the pieces they love.
What You’ll Be Doing
Stock & Intake Support: Assist with regular WSSI updates, tracking intake schedules, and ensuring purchase orders align with demand plans and Open-to-Buy targets.
Trade Reporting & Analysis: Compile daily and weekly inventory and sales reports to help analyse sell-through rates, weeks of cover, and category performance for commercial trading reviews.
Purchase Order Lifecycle: Raise and maintain accurate purchase orders, tracking delivery schedules with domestic and international partners to ensure stock lands on time.
Commercial Collaboration: Serve as a key link between Buyers, Commercial Finance, and central teams to flag intake movements, delivery timelines, and stock availability updates.
Range & System Maintenance: Maintain accurate product management and inventory data, updating site availability dates, handling stock allocations, and supporting drop-ship range expansion.
Trade Optimisation: Monitor market trends and customer buying patterns, supporting the team with markdown proposals, promotional stock builds, and clearance strategies.
What We’re Looking For
Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with figures, analysing sales trends, and using data to solve stock and commercial challenges.
Spreadsheet Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data management formulas).
Detail & Accuracy: High attention to detail, with the ability to manage high-volume tasks and tight intake deadlines accurately.
Clear Communication: Confident liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers with equal professionalism.
Product & Retail Passion: A genuine interest in interior design, homewares, and e-commerce retail trends.
Relevant Experience: Practical experience in a junior merchandising, merchandising admin assistant (MAA), or commercial stock planning role.
Why Join MFI?
This is an exciting opportunity to build your career within an iconic, high-profile online brand. You’ll work within a supportive, collaborative team where your commercial analytical skills will make a direct impact on our trade growth every day.
