Account Executive SME

Help engineers move from manual work to AI-powered engineering. We are a growing high-tech scale-up looking with an international impact and tens of thousands of users on our AI-powered platform worldwide. As an SMEAccount Executive, you'll own the full sales cycle, from discovery to close. Your buyers are engineers, technical leads, and commercial decision-makers at Engineering firms and Contractors. They know their domain well. So should you.

What you will do:

• 30% pipeline management and deal execution

• 25% product demos and presentations

• 20% account strategy and planning

• 15% cross-functional collaboration

• 10% reporting and CRM hygiene

Key responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities from demo to signed contract

• Run product demonstrations tailored to the engineering context of each prospect

• Build account-level plans and execute them with clear milestones

• Work with SDRs to support pipeline generation and ensure clean lead handoffs

• Navigate and maintain relationships across multiple stakeholders within prospect organisations

• Negotiate contract terms with procurement, legal, and commercial counterparts

• Provide reliable weekly and monthly pipeline forecasting

• Represent VIKTOR at relevant industry events and conferences

Requirements

• 2+ years in a B2B SaaS closing role with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota - and the specifics to back it up

• Experience selling to technical buyers: engineers, project managers, technical directors, or comparable roles

• Strong discovery skills, you ask precise questions and use the answers

• A consultative approach: you identify the problem before you position the solution

• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger, or similar) and CRM tooling

• Background in or working knowledge of engineering workflows is a significant advantage

• Experience at a scale-up or growth-stage SaaS company is a plus

• Based in the Netherlands, fluent in English. Dutch is strongly preferred

• Available 40 hours per week
