This position plays an important role in driving leasing activity, achieving occupancy goals, supporting marketing initiatives, and creating a positive experience for prospects and residents from their first interaction through move-in and beyond.

The successful candidate will be energetic, organized, customer-focused, and sales-minded, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving lease-up environment. Strong communication, follow-through, attention to detail, and relationship-building skills are essential.

If you enjoy meeting new people, creating memorable customer experiences, and want the opportunity to play an important role in building and leasing a new community from the ground up, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the community’s leasing, marketing, and renewal efforts to support occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals.

  • Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct community and apartment tours, follow up on leads, and guide prospects through the leasing process.

  • Process rental applications, including required credit and background screenings, and prepare lease and move-in documentation.

  • Deliver a smooth and welcoming move-in experience while maintaining strong communication with new residents.

  • Build relationships with current residents, provide exceptional customer service, and support lease renewal and resident retention efforts.

  • Maintain knowledge of the local market, competitor pricing, concessions, availability, and other factors that may impact leasing and occupancy.

  • Assist in developing and executing short- and long-term leasing and marketing strategies designed to increase traffic and achieve occupancy goals.

  • Support outreach and marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, social media, email campaigns, CRM activities, and community events.

  • Accurately maintain prospect, resident, traffic, leasing, and apartment availability information within the property management system, such as Yardi or similar software.

  • Regularly inspect model apartments, leasing areas, marketing corridors, and tour routes to ensure they meet company presentation standards.

  • Maintain consistent prospect follow-up and help convert leads into leases while meeting established leasing and occupancy goals.
