Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in automation testing, particularly with Selenium, and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our web applications through effective testing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium to validate web applications.
  • Design and implement performance testing using JMeter to assess application responsiveness and stability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and identify testing requirements.
  • Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution.
  • Report and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Selenium for web automation testing.
  • Familiarity with JMeter for performance testing.
  • Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with other automation tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Understanding of version control systems like Git.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
