Job Description

We are seeking a Risk Analyst to support the implementation of risk controls, exposure monitoring routines, collateral arrangements, and KPIs for participants in the payment arrangement, with a particular focus on Issuers.

This professional will play an important role in strengthening the company’s risk mitigation processes by supporting the implementation and ongoing monitoring of financial, operational, exposure, and collateral-related controls. The role will be responsible for monitoring the sufficiency, formalization, and validity of guarantees; tracking participants’ exposure and related KPIs; supporting contract management; preparing management reports and executive presentations; and ensuring an efficient flow of information with clients, Issuers, internal teams, and other relevant stakeholders.

The position requires an analytical mindset, strong organizational skills, the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders, and the capability to transform data and information into structured analyses, risk indicators, and executive materials that support decision-making from a Risk Management perspective.

Essential Functions

  • Monitor collateral structures linked to clients and counterparties including bank statements, and systems, tracking sufficiency, eligibility, maturity dates, formalization, adherence to internal policies, and related risk indicators.
  • Control and monitor collateral agreements, ensuring they are up to date, properly formalized, and compliant with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Manage the collateral lifecycle, including creation, renewal, replacement, reinforcement, release, and enforcement, when applicable, ensuring proper documentation, governance, and traceability throughout the process.
  • Implement, monitor, and continuously enhance KPIs related to collateral, exposure, guarantees, portfolio behavior, operational performance, and risk mitigation effectiveness, maximizing the use of Artificial Intelligence tools to automate analyses, identify patterns, generate insights, and improve the efficiency and accuracy of monitoring routines.
  • Prepare periodic reports and management presentations with risk indicators, guarantee positions, relevant exposures, maturity dates, KPI performance, trends, early warning signals, and key areas of attention to support governance and decision-making.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial and operational information to identify potential risk deterioration, needs for additional collateral, deviations from defined parameters, or changes in participant behavior, leveraging AI-based tools and analytical models whenever applicable to enhance predictive capacity and monitoring effectiveness.
  • Maintain the flow of information with clients by submitting requests, following up, and collecting documents, collateral, and other information required for the monitoring process, ensuring timely updates and completeness of information.
  • Interact with internal areas such as Risk, Sales, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Finance to align information, address contractual matters, implement mitigating actions, and support the evolution of monitoring processes and risk controls.
  • Support the development, automation, and maintenance of controls, dashboards, and monitoring indicators, contributing to a preventive, data-driven, and structured view of the portfolio, with a strong focus on maximizing the use of Artificial Intelligence for KPI implementation, anomaly detection, trend analysis, workflow optimization, and executive reporting.
  • Support internal and external audits, as well as regulatory requests, by organizing information, evidence, dashboards, reports, and documentation related to contracts and guarantee structures.
  • Identify opportunities to apply Artificial Intelligence and automation in risk monitoring routines, including data consolidation, exception handling, alerts, prioritization of critical cases, report generation, and continuous improvement of collateral and exposure monitoring processes.
