Visa is an American payments technology company whose network traces back to the BankAmericard programme launched in 1958 and which became an independent public company in 2008. It does not issue cards or lend money; instead it operates VisaNet, the switching infrastructure that authorises, clears and settles hundreds of billions of transactions a year between issuing banks, acquirers and merchants in more than two hundred countries. Headquartered in San Francisco, the company earns fees on payment volume and processed transactions, and has expanded into account-to-account transfers, tokenisation, fraud scoring and open banking through Visa Direct and its value-added services division.

  • Translate selected strategic priorities into product roadmaps, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements documents (BRDs), concept documents, and delivery plans that enable cross-functional teams to execute
  • Partner with technology and subject matter experts to solve complex technical and operational challenges, evaluate trade-offs, and convert ambiguous requirements into practical, scalable implementation paths
  • Shape and prioritize roadmaps and backlogs for selected cross-border growth workstreams, ensuring execution stays aligned to strategic value, client impact, business objectives, delivery capacity, and measurable outcomes
  • Partner with product, technology, design, legal/regulatory, regional, and implementation teams to move solutions from strategy through requirements, delivery, launch readiness, market enablement, and ongoing improvement
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across regions and functions, helping teams make trade-offs, resolve dependencies, and deliver scalable solutions that can be adopted across markets
  • Identify implications of data and analysis, articulate recommendations, and build support for them among business leaders across the organization
