Job Description

As a New College Graduate Software Engineer at Visa, you will join one of our technology organizations and work on impactful projects that shape the future of digital payments. Your assignment will align with your skills, interests, and team needs-giving you opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute from day one.

Some job duties and projects could include:

• Write optimized, secure, and scalable code following industry best practices (e.g., unit testing, code reviews).

• Develop solutions that support both product and technologyobjectives.

• Build end-to-end technology solutions addressing business needs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

• Diagnose and resolve software issues using root cause analysis.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity,Businessor a related field

• Graduating May 2026 - August 2027

• Less than 6 months of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiencyin one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, C#, .NET, JavaScript, Go).

• Familiarity with web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).

• Experience with automation tools, REST APIs, and test frameworks (e.g., Selenium).

• Exposure tocloud technologies (AWS), databases (MySQL), or data visualization (Power BI).

• Understanding ofGenerative AI tools and concepts (framework usage, integration, prompt design).

• Knowledge of software engineering principles, testing, and version control.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to learn quickly, collaborate effectively, and adapt to complex challenges.

• Clear written and verbal communication skillsappropriate forprofessional settings.
