Pay Transparency

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is €58,800 - €96,600 which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Pension, Life Insurance, Annual Leave, and Wellness Program.

Job Description

Visa is seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Senior Manager, Marketing Services to help accelerate client growth through the development and delivery of best-in-class marketing solutions.

This role sits at the intersection of marketing, consulting, and business development. The successful candidate will partner closely with issuing banks and other financial insitutionsto identify business opportunities and develop co-marketing initiatives that drive customer acquisition, activation, engagement, and card usage.

As a trusted advisor to clients, the Senior Manager will be responsible for uncovering business challenges, shaping strategic marketing recommendations, and demonstrating the value of Visa's marketing capabilities to secure client investment and unlock new revenue opportunities. The role requires a strong commercial mindset, exceptional client-facing skills, and deep expertise across the marketing ecosystem, including insights, strategy, creative development, media, sponsorships, partnerships, and campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Growth

  • Identify and develop new marketing opportunities with Visa clients, driving incremental business through co-marketing investments and joint growth initiatives.

  • Act as a strategic consultant to clients, understanding their objectives and translating them into impactful marketing solutions.

  • Build compelling business cases that demonstrate the value and ROI of Visa's marketing services.

  • Influence senior client stakeholders and secure investment in marketing programs that support both client and Visa business objectives.

  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of marketing opportunities across issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, and other financial institutions.

Marketing Strategy

  • Lead the development of client marketing strategies designed to increase consumer acquisition, activation, retention, and card usage.

  • Leverage consumer insights, market research, category trends, and analytics to identify growth opportunities and inform recommendations.

  • Advise clients on go-to-market strategies, customer engagement programs, and brand-building initiatives.

  • Partner with Visa's product, sales, consulting, and marketing teams to create integrated solutions that address client business challenges.

Marketing Services Delivery

  • Oversee the development and execution of end-to-end marketing programs, includingconsumer and market research, strategic planning and insights, creative development, media planning and buying, digital and social marketing, CRM and loyalty initiatives, content creation, performance marketing, measurement and campaign optimization

  • Manage agency and partner relationships to ensure best-in-class execution and measurable results.

  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and against agreed KPIs.

Sponsorships & Partnerships

  • Leverage Visa's unique portfolio of global and local sponsorships, entertainment properties, and strategic partnerships to create differentiated client marketing platforms.

  • Develop creative activation opportunities that connect clients with consumer passion points such as sports, music, travel, gaming, and entertainment.

  • Position Visa's sponsorship assets as strategic business tools that drive engagement, preference, and commercial outcomes for clients.

  • Collaborate with internal sponsorship and partnership teams to maximize the value of Visa's exclusive rights and experiences.

Performance Measurement

  • Define success metrics and KPIs aligned with client and Visa business objectives.

  • Track marketing effectiveness and demonstrate commercial impact through robust measurement frameworks.

  • Present performance results, insights, and recommendations to client and internal stakeholders.

  • Continuously optimize programs based on data, consumer behavior, and business outcomes.

This is a hybrid position. Expectationofdays in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Proficiency in English

  • Experience working in and with multinational organizations with well-positioned local brands.

  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to influence clients and generate new business opportunities.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and selling strategic marketing solutions.

  • Deep understanding of integrated marketing, media, creative development, customer acquisition, loyalty, and engagement programs.

  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable business recommendations.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and client-focused environment.
