Visa is an American payments technology company whose network traces back to the BankAmericard programme launched in 1958 and which became an independent public company in 2008. It does not issue cards or lend money; instead it operates VisaNet, the switching infrastructure that authorises, clears and settles hundreds of billions of transactions a year between issuing banks, acquirers and merchants in more than two hundred countries. Headquartered in San Francisco, the company earns fees on payment volume and processed transactions, and has expanded into account-to-account transfers, tokenisation, fraud scoring and open banking through Visa Direct and its value-added services division.

  • Strengthen and expand Visa’s impact within assigned accounts by driving adoption of Visa payment products, solutions, and value-added services.
  • Act as a trusted partner to senior client stakeholders, including C-level executives, through strong consultative engagement and commercial leadership.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively address F2F acquiring and eCommerce trends, opportunities, and risks across Central Asia.
  • Qualify and quantify market-specific opportunities in close collaboration with local teams, ensuring alignment with sub-regional priorities.
  • Contribute actively to market strategy, business planning, and execution, turning insights into tangible growth initiatives.
  • Drive initiatives to increase Visa acceptance, unlock underpenetrated merchant segments, support SME enablement, and promote financial literacy.
  • Develop deep expertise in Visa’s products, solutions, and the broader payments ecosystem to enable proactive, value-driven selling.
  • Provide structured feedback to internal teams on product enhancements, pricing, market requirements, and localization opportunities.
  • Lead initiatives to grow consumer payments, B2B solutions, and the penetration of value-added services with power clients.
  • Facilitate co-brand initiatives with merchants and issuers across the full lifecycle: prospecting, lead development, business case creation, negotiations, contracting, and launch.
  • Support co-brand programs post-launch, including performance management, upselling, renewals, and extensions to ensure sustainable profitability.
  • Define, align, and deliver business objectives in line with sub-regional merchant sales plans, coordinating execution within budget and resource constraints.
  • Collaborate closely with local teams, sub-regional stakeholders, and Dubai-based teams across business, technical, legal, and service dimensions.
  • Support consultancy engagements with acquirers, merchants, ISVs, TPAs, and ecosystem partners.
  • Represent Visa externally at industry conferences, client events, and public forums as appropriate.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

  • Strong commercial acumen; prior product P&L responsibility is an advantage.
